Back from Mexico
Hi All! My family and I arrived home from Mexico late Friday night. Yesterday was spent recuperating and restocking the kitchen cupboards. I am feeling well and had a great time. My surgery was fantastic - the clinic and people there were absolutely magnificent. I have great pictures and stories to tell, which I will as soon as I get back into the groove of things. My first priority, other than healing, is getting my students taken care of. We only have 2 weeks left in the semester, so they will command my attention. Here's one pic of our adventures. It's the Grand Canyon, and this picture in no way captures how grand it is. The triangular rock formation just about in the center of the picture is called something like Pharoah's Pyramid.

Welcome Home!!!
So glad everything went well! I've been trying to talk the hubby into going to the Canyon all summer!
Hi Kelli
Glad your home (if you are)and feeling good.
You have attitude and that is 90% of the healing process.
Hope to see you at a meeting soon

Thanks for the welcoming comments. I'm so swamped right now - the semester ends a week from Friday, and I've spent the last 2 days grading papers and answering questions, as well as preparing lectures on Noh drama and the Bhagavad Gita for World Lit. Shoo! I'm tired. But I feel great in terms of recovery.
Happy to have you back and well, Kelli!
Missed you.
Beautiful picture, BTW - very inspiring.
Beautiful pic, Kelli - and I'm glad you're back safe and sound.
