Sauce for the Goose

Okay, here's a taste of my own medicine. I admitted on another blog that I once was brainwashed into thinking Bernie Kopell was sexy as Doc in THE LOVE BOAT. Lord, I can't believe I just admitted that. Okay, I was in 7th grade. Give me a break. We all have dark secrets from junior high we wish to keep buried.

What a cute couple!

You know, Kelli, maybe you had the right idea after all.

Delicious! I once had a thing for Kirk Cameron. I kissed his poster until it...well, I'll let you imagine.

I now only hold Gena and Jill responsible for the Cage/Brad Mask debacle.

You poor thing...

LOL!

When I was in 7th or 8th grade, I had a thing for (oh god, gag me) Pat Boone. And that was when Elvis was available. What was I thinking!!

In recent years the man has gotten really freaky weird.

I thought he was "nice". NICE!!
It wasn't until I was older that I realized there were qualities much much much better than NICE.

I think when all those hormones kick in our brains just go fried for a while.

Have you heard Pat Boone's rendition of STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN? It is SOOOOOO funny!!

I always remember PB in the remake of State Fair. He just never cut it as a romantic lead. Of course, that whole remake was poor. The Dick Haymes version is terrific, and Haymes could sing. Whew! He may have looked like the boy next door, but he had a singing voice of a Casanova. Unfortunately, he also had the alcoholism of a Casanova as well and died young.

Bernie must have drained me of most geek worship. I never fell for Kirk Cameron. I was too busy denying that George Michael hit both ways.

Dana - thanks for the pity acquittal. ;-)

Kelli, I'm always here to back up bad decisions. I've made numerous in my life.

Talk about wacked droolings? How about this... Ricky Martin WHEN HE WAS IN MENUDO!

Haning my head in shame...

But he grew up to be hot Hot HOT!!! You just had the foresight to know a good thing when you saw it!

Think about playing doctor with that man?!

And you know, Kelli, if the light is right, I can still convince myself that George Michael really likes women!

Jill - go toward the light!!

It really isn't fair that George Michael is gay (unless you're gay as well). And Rupert Everett! He's so wonderful in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and AN IDEAL HUSBAND! For those of us who love that suave English lord icon from Regencies and Historicals, it's not fair that one of the best at playing that character bats for the other side!! Woe is me.
